Thomas Harman
BA Television Production Graduate
I am a London based, award-winning filmmaker and actor. Experience with TV, film, theatre and passionate about drama. I enjoy producing and my experience and insights from having been on both sides of the camera really allow me to bring productions to life.
Showreel
I'm from London, I have just concluded my studies in BA Television Production associated with Creative Skill Set at Middlesex University. I gained experience in directing and producing, set design and props master. During my time at Middlesex, I studied the history of Television extensively and was involved in factual entertainment programmes. I have had several of my documentary shorts screened at various film festivals. I have a previous back ground as an actor, I have performed as one of the leads in an Arts Council England play and I have studied Stanivlaski's acting methods. I feel my broad spectrum of skills and experience - from directing to set design - will inform my work very well.
My studio experience
I have a comprehensive knowledge of television studio work, having worked on nine studio productions at Middlesex University including a re make of Not Going Out. A pilot for a Sitcom At The Bar by Deborah Klika directed by I.T Crowd director Nick Wood. And a successful Drama by Kudos, Humans starring Katherine Parkinson. My roles in the studio have included Camera operator / Set Design / Props Master / Background artist. I have also had experience with the Boom, Autocue and Vision Control.
